The 18-year-old striker netted a remarkable double on his debut for the Old Trafford club, seeing the Red Devils through against FC Midtjylland, turning around a first-leg deficit
After beginning the night 2-1 down to FC Midtjylland from the first leg of the Europa League clash and with Anthony Martial limping out of the warm-up with a hamstring injury, things were looking worrying for Manchester United.
Martial was replaced by Marcus Rashford, with the 18-year-old thrust into his first competitive match after a smattering of Under-21 and Under-18 appearances and the youngster proceeded to instigate a remarkable turn-around, blowing away the Danish side, who went 1-0 up, and netting two goals in a 4-1 win.
United eventually cruised through to an aggregate lead of 6-3, thanks to an Ander Herrera penalty and Memphis strike late on, but it was Rashford's double that got the Old Trafford club back in the tie, scoring the leveller and the goal that gave the Red Devils the lead.
As you might expect, Twitter provided some interesting reactions to the 18-year-old's display...
