The Arsenal midfielder misses the Champions League last-16 first leg clash and warns his team-mates not to only focus on stopping Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar

Santi Cazorla hopes to be fit for the second leg of Arsenal's Champions League last 16 meeting with Barcelona.

The midfielder has been out of action since limping out of the Gunners' 1-1 draw with Norwich City on November 29 with a knee injury.

The former Malaga man said it would be difficult to watch the first leg at the Emirates Stadium from the sidelines, but believes he is in with a chance of being fit for the tie at Camp Nou on March 16.

"I want to come back, it is hard to be outside and not be able to help," he told radio station Onda Cero. "Even more in a game as important as this against Barca.

"My objective is to be back for the second leg. The knee is improving all the time, and I hope to make it."

Cazorla also warned Arsenal would have to be wary of the likes of Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets at the Emirates Stadium - not just the "incredible" front three of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez.

"You watch the three up front play and what they do together is incredible," he added. "It's clear they are well backed up.

"Everyone knows already how devoted I am to Andres, and nobody can value enough what Busquets does for Barcelona.

"It's true everyone fixes on the three up top as they score goals, make the difference, and put on the show. But Barcelona as a team are more than just the three up front - position by position they have the best players.

"So it is very difficult."
