President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the disengagement of the Deputy Governor answerable for Operations on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Adebayo Adelabu, with impact from July 15, 2018.
CBN Acting Director, Corporate Communications, Isaac Okorafor, said this in an assertion on Wednesday in Abuja, saying that Buhari in a letter dated May 24, 2018, wished Adelabu nicely in his future endeavor.
Buhari in his acceptance letter had written: “I admire your providers within the Central Bank of Nigeria since April 9, 2014.

“I want you the easiest in your future ambition and continued dedication to public service in our nation as you search to play an extra lively position in politics, in your house state,” the president mentioned.
A source on the CBN, which most popular anonymity, advised the News Agency of Nigeria
that Adelabu left CBN to hunt election because the Governor of Oyo state.
Recall that Adelabu assumed responsibility as CBN Deputy Governor on April 9, 2014.
Over the 4 years in his profession at CBN, he served as Deputy Governor answerable for Financial System Stability, Corporate Services, and lastly Operations.
