Chelsea have revealed club captain John Terry has been offered a new one-year contract, though no agreement has been reached.
The centre-back revealed in January that he could leave the Blues, having received no communication over a new contract, and has been expected to bring an end to a 21 year association with the London side.
However, Chelsea have maintained that the former England captain's future had not been decided and have moved to offer him a new deal, revealing so in Guus Hiddink's press conference on Friday.

The 35-year-old was sent off for the second time this season in Saturday's defeat to Sunderland, meaning he would miss out on saying farewell to Chelsea fans with a two game suspension.
And while the defender has not yet signed a new deal, he is expected to commit to a further year at least, having admitted on Monday that he would like to spend a few more years at Stamford Bridge.
Interim Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink also said this week that Terry is good enough to remain at the club, insisting he is "able to play and continue". - Goal
