The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen, has warned federal and states authorities in opposition to disobeying court docket orders and rule of legislation.
The CJN mentioned this whereas talking on the first University of Lagos (UNILAG) Faculty of Law public lecture on the varsity’s primary campus in Akoka, Lagos.
Onnoghen mentioned: “Any authorities that's in opposition to the enthronement of the rule of legislation is by implication inviting anarchy into the system. A democratic authorities should not solely obey the legislation but in addition courts’ orders.
