Years after taking a break from acting, veteran Nollywood actress Clarion Chukwurah has made a big come-back to the movie scene.
The star actress is one of the key characters in Elvin Chu' new movie titled Hustlers.
"I had already taken a break from the movie industry, until Elvis gave me a brief summary of the movie. Initially, I didn't see anything challenging about it until he brought the script and I read through it. I was amazed at the theme, characterization, plot and the rest; I couldn't help but say 'yes'," Chukwurah stated.
Clarion Chukwurah will be acting alongside popular movie stars like Mercy Johnson, Nse Ikpe Etim, IK Ogbonna, Chelsea Eze and Paul Sambo.
HUSTLERS is the story of a mother who wants to use her daughter to find an easy way out of poverty. The movie has memorable twists and bends with Mercy Johnson and Nse Ikpe Etim playing roles of two local girls 'hustling' to survive in the city.
Chukwurah acts as Mercy Johnson's mother and IK Ogbonna's sugar mummy.
