It might not have proven to be a memorable summer for many Englishmen in the world of football, but one man bucks that trend.
Referee Mark Clattenburg spent the past few months being unofficially crowned the best referee in Europe after taking charge of both the Champions League and Euro 2016 final.
And the official has opted to celebrate his own achievements by having permanent reminders of the events tattooed onto his body!
Clattenburg - who has previously been criticised for everything from his decision making on the pitch to his haircut - certainly looked happy enough with his new body art.
But he might be on the end of some light-hearted ribbing from fellow officials, managers and players heading into the new campaign after they went viral on Tuesday.>
