The L.A. Clippers announced today the team has signed forward Jeff Ayres to a 10-day contract.A five-year NBA veteran, Ayres, 28, has appeared in 220 career regular season games with Portland, Indiana and San Antonio, averaging 3.0 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.1 minutes.
