The Federal High Court, Lagos, has ordered the non permanent seizure of a land within the Lekki space of Lagos allegedly belonging to former Minister of Petroleum Resources Diezani Alison-Madueke.
The land, price N325.4m is situated at Plot 13, Block II Oniru Chieftaincy Private Family Estate.
The order was granted by Justice Babs Kuewumi in favour of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Counsel for the EFCC, Anslem Ozioko, who took an ex parte software earlier than the decide on Wednesday, mentioned the land was suspected to be acquired with proceeds of crime.
