The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, has today terminated further hearing on two separate suits challenging the eligibility of General Muhammadu Buhari, to participate in the 2015 presidential election. The suits were struck out by Justice Ademola Adeniyi after they were withdrawn by the plaintiffs. Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) who is representing Chukwunweike Okafor, and Dr. Chike Amobi, representing Max Ozoaka in the second case told the judge on different notes that their client have decided to withdraw their suits to enable the incoming government focus on the enormous task of governance, and allow the President-elect, Buhari, to effectively run the affairs of the nation without distraction. The termination of both suit leaves one pending eligibility suit against Buhari, filed by one Ayakeme Whiskey.
