One of the daughters of a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, Mrs. Yewande Towobola, has said her father was getting over the shock of his kidnap.
Yewande, who spoke on the telephone on Saturday, said the former minister of finance was recuperating gradually and would get better very soon, Punch reports.
She said: ‘‘He is taking a rest and getting better. After next week, he would be available for press interviews.”
Many friends and family members besieged the Akure home of Falae to sympathise with his wife, Rachael and other family members following his abduction on Monday, September 21 by suspected Fulani herdsmen on his farm in Ilado village, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
He regained freedom on Thursday (24/09/15), following the intervention of the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, his men and other security operatives in the state.
