The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has applauded the partnership between Dangote, Peugeot-Citroen and 5 State Governments in vehicle manufacturing.
The Director-General of MAN, Mr Segun Ajayi-Kadri, stated in an interview with the NANon Monday in Lagos that the partnership would revive the car trade in Nigeria.
“If we're in a position to have extra of those partnerships and implement applicable insurance policies to keep up the resurgence, we'll robotically rebuild small-scale industries.
The director-general recalled that a few years in the past, the car sector had recorded 34 per cent success fee in native sourcing of Peugeot components however that the trade all of the sudden suffered extreme decline.
