Former Senate President David Mark
Former Senate President David Mark (PDP-Benue South) is set to vie for the Presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The lawmaker media aide, Paul Mumeh, made this known to TheCable on Monday.
Mumeh said: “I think it is most likely he will contest but he (Mark) is yet to pick the form.
“Although for now, nothing official from him.”
Mark will be vying for the party’s ticket with bigwigs such as Senate President Bukola Saraki, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar; Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Others in the opposition are Aminu Tambuwal, former governor of Sokoto state; and Ahmed Makarfi, former caretaker committee chairman of the PDP.
