Delta State Governorship Election petition sitting in Asaba, the state capital, has today affirmed the election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
The three-man tribunal led by Justice Nasir Gunmi had earlier struck out the petition by the Labour Party candidate, Great Ogboru.
The tribunal also asked Labour Party to pay the sum of 50,000 naira each amounting to a sum of 150,000 naira, to the respondents in the case.
