The Arsenal playmaker was caught on camera following December's 1-1 draw at Carrow Road appearing to be less than complementary about Alex Neil's defence
If anyone is in a position to criticise Premier League defences it is the man who has been running them ragged all season long in the shape of Mesut Ozil.
But the Arsenal playmaker looks to have overstepped the mark after he was caught on camera seemingly branding Norwich's rearguard "f****** s***" at the end of December’s 1-1 draw between the two sides at Carrow Road.
Have a look for yourself in the video below, starting from the 7-minute-40-second mark.
Ozil had opened the scoring after he capitalised on a horrendous clearance from John Ruddy but the Gunners spurned several opportunities thereafter and were made to pay on the stroke of half-time when some equally generous defending allowed Lewis Grabban to score his first, and to this day only, Premier League goal.
Arsenal are not scheduled to meet Norwich again until the end of April when the destiny of the league title may well be on the line, not mention the Canaries’ top flight status.
Extra Time feels Ozil may have already provided the material for Alex Neil’s pre-match team talk.
