While the Challenger Hellcat has already conquered the web from drag racing videos to drift videos and basically anything else you can think of, a highly slippery surface was the one thing missing from its portfolio.

If you're looking for ice, you can't go wrong by planting your flag at the 2016 Arsunda Speed Weekend, where this Dodge Challenger Hellcat blasted past the speed trap at 274 km/h (170 mph), while averaging 261 km/h (162 mph) over a full kilometer (0.6 miles).

Now, even though you may read in that this is a "world record on ice", as it states in the video's description, there have been previous attempts where cars such as the Audi RS6 were tons quicker (335.7 km/h / 208.6 mph) - a record set back 2013.

Of course, this should take nothing away from the Hellcat's achievement, because this is still one very appealing automobile, regardless of the road or weather conditions.

Had the event gone over their 1 km running distance limit, the Hellcat probably would have been even faster - though there's not that much room for error, especially considering how much the driver is struggling with keeping the car in a straight line.
