EFCC Arrests Native Doctor Hired To Neutralize Charms Found In Dollar-Filled Carton In Abuja

A self-proclaimed native doctor has been arrested in Abuja for allegedly scamming his client, Dozie Ugonna of over N2.5million. Ugonna told EFCC he hired Bala Tangalu to neutralize some harmful charms purportedly contained in a carton filled with U.S dollars. The suspect who couldn’t neutralize the charms allegedly fled with the huge sum of money. The EFCC arraigned him yesterday before Justice A. B. Mohammed of the Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Jabi, Abuja, on a 2-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of N2.5m. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of N2million with 2 sureties in like sum.
