Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state addresses newsmen
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has allegedly frozen the account of the Benue State government.
Famzn News understands that the anti-corruption agency gave the order on Tuesday.
This is following the defection of Governor Samuel Ortom from the All Progressives Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party.
Confirming the development, Terver Akase, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor told Famzn News it was part of agenda to cripple the state.
“Yes, it is part of the evil agenda to cripple the state. It is only in Benue that the EFCC is probing the security vote of the governor,” he said.
