Welcome to Famzn News Global election monitoring room and live reports. Like we did with Anambra Election, we shall be bringing to you live reports across Ekiti, as the people of the Southwest state troop out today (Saturday) to elect who will govern them for the next 4 years.
There are 35 candidates running for the number-one seat in the Fountain of Knowledge. But two of them are clearly the front runners. Who will take the day? Former governor of the state Dr Kayode Fayemi (APC)? Deputy Governor of the state Kolapo Olusola-Eleka (PDP)? Time will tell.
This thread is open to everybody in Ekiti who is participating in one way or another during the election. Voters, observers, officials are encouraged to use the comment form below to report activities at the various polling unit and collation centres.
