PDP candidate and deputy governor, Olusola-Eleka, waits as INEC officials struggle to accredit him with the Card Reader
Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saturday’s Ekiti state governorship election, Professor Kolapo Olusola-Eleka, has won his Polling Unit.
Olusolula-Eleka, who is the Deputy Governor of the State, scored 452 votes, to beat his main rival, APC’s Dr John Kayode Fayemi, who scored 105 votes.
Famzn News understands that the result was announced at about 4.40pm.
There are 1,103 registered voters in Unit 007, Ward 2, Okekuru, Ikere-Ekiti, where the PDP candidate voted.
Fayemi won majority votes in his polling unit of Isan Ward 11 Unit 9, scoring 186 votes while Olusola-Eleka polled two votes.
