The Swans picked up their second consecutive win to move out of the relegation zone, leaving the home team's supporters cursing another disappointing result
Francesco Guidolin tasted victory in his first game in charge of Swansea City as goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Andre Ayew saw off Everton at Goodison Park.
The Welsh side took an early lead from the penalty spot, Sigurdsson converting after Tim Howard had brought down Ayew following a ropey back pass from John Stones.
Everton were soon level, though, when Gareth Barry’s deft touch from a Gerard Deulofeu corner flicked off Jack Cork and into the back of the net.
However, a third first half goal restored the Swans’ lead, Ayew’s deflected shot beating Howard.
Deulofeu was particularly impressive in a second half which saw Everton do the majority of the attacking, but Roberto Martinez’s side couldn’t find a way back into the game, much to the frustration of the home supporters.
