Gunmen have abducted Dele Fagoriola, a former chairman of Akure North local government of Ondo state.
Famzn News learned that Fagoriola was kidnapped on Saturday afternoon on his farm in Iju.
As stated by reports, his elder brother, Busuyi, said the former council boss was supervising his labourers when the gunmen kidnapped him.
The kidnappers, seven in number, were said to have used masks to hide their faces.
Spokesman for the police in the state, Femi Joseph, said the command had begun investigation into the incident.
