Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Mahmood Yayale has dropped his curiosity to contest for the governorship place in Bauchi State.
He made this recognized whereas talking on the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors’ annual basic convention on Tuesday.
Yayale stated: “I don’t think I have the interest to contest for governorship again especially in 2019 election because my brother, Governor Abubakar is there.”
He also stated that the essence of presidency is to make sure efficient improvement, as such the governor has the capability to hold on.
“I declined to contest governorship in 2007 when some stakeholders in Bauchi State required my service in that regard,” Yayale added.
