Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode on Wednesday criticised the reason by the Presidency on why states ought to undertake ranching.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina had stated that folks can solely personal lands when they're alive.
Adesina mentioned this in connection to the problem being confronted by the federal government in buying land to construct ranches for Fulani herdsmen.
Reacting in a put up on Twitter, Fani-Kayode mentioned the Presidency needs Nigerians to give up their “ancestral lands” to Fulani herdsmen or be ready to be slaughtered.
Fani-Kayode wrote: “Giving land for ranching is best than loss of life. Being alive is best than ancestral attachment to land – Presidency
“In other words, you must surrender your ancestral lands to the Fulani or prepare to be slaughtered. You must give them your homes or they will take your lives!”
