Femi Fani-Kayode
A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Nigeria’s main opposition party, Femi Fani-Kayode, has told the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to prepare for war in 2019. Fani-Kayode, who was reacting to the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the party’s flag bearer for the 2019 Presidential election, said it was time for members of the PDP to come together and send President Buhari into retirement. Famzn News had reported earlier that the former Vice President emerged winner of the party’s presidential primary with 1,532 votes while his closest contender, Aminu Tambuwal, polled 693 votes. Reacting, the PDP chieftain congratulated Abubakar and thereafter told APC to get ready for war. Fani-Kayode tweeted: “Congrats to the Waziri of Adamawa Atiku Abubakar on a great victory. “Now is the time for each and every one of us in @OfficialPDPNig to come together as a party and prepare for the presidential election. @APCNigeria get ready for war! @MBuhari prepare for your retirement!
