A former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on Wednesday in Abuja, formally handed over the management of the ministry to the Minister of State, Abubakar Bwari.
Kayode handed over paperwork in his custody to allow Bwari to execute the features of the ministry appropriately.
As said by the previous minister, a lot remains to be wanted to be accomplished to make the sector a mining vacation spot.
He counseled the performing minister who served as minister of state below him, saying that his help and sensible counsel helped in shifting the sector ahead.
Bwari appreciated the minister for time spent collectively, including that each of them served in oneness, unity and understanding.
“There have been no grudges between us once we have been serving collectively; that's the reason we have been capable of transfer the sector ahead.
“I wish to use this chance to apologise to Fayemi, in case I had offended him on the course of performing our duties collectively.
He stated that Fayemi did his greatest on the native and worldwide ranges to maneuver the sector ahead and likewise impacted drastically within the lives of the ministry’s workers.
Mr Zubairu Abdulahi, the Director of Human Resources who spoke on behalf of the administrators within the ministry, wished the outgoing minister effectively in his future endeavours.
