Former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi
The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, on Wednesday promised to resign his appointment in a week.
The minister was on Saturday declared winner of the APC main election having polled a complete 941 votes.
Fayemi, who's the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state, spoke to State House Correspondents on the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The minister mentioned there's a lot of labor to do and he and his co-contestants are seeing the approaching election as a collective rescue mission.
He had on Sunday disclosed that he would resign his appointment as Minister of Mines and Steel Development in two weeks time.
