Three female suicide bombers have attacked a community in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, North-east Nigeria.
About 21 persons were killed in the explosion and scores injured.
The suicide bombers were stated to have stormed the fish market with IEDs strapped on their bodies when the incident occurred.
A source at the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) confirmed the attack to Channels Television on Friday.
The source, who is a member of the SEMA evacuation team, stated the suicide bombers carried out the attack at about 9:30 pm.
The bodies have been deposited at the mortuary while the injured have been taken to the Konduga General Hospital.
However, the Borno State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the incidence or the causalities.
