DSS Operatives
The Acting Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mathew Seiyefa, has assured Nigerians that the service will not stop to protect Nigeria’s interest.
Speaking to newsmen on Thursday, Seiyefa promised that the service would respect and uphold the legitimate rights of all Nigerians without promoting the individual rights of any person above the interest of the country.
He also expressed readiness of the secret police to partner with stakeholders to contain all threats to the country.
The security agency boss said the service would also protect its constitutional mandate as its reviews the issues which portray the DSS in a bad light.
He noted that some of the issues that are of concern include the alleged detention and trial of criminal suspects in the country.
