A frontline journalist and first female editor, Hajia Bilikisu Yussuf, is among the 717 pilgims who died during a stampede at the Jamrat Bridge in Mecca on Thursday.
News of her filterred in into the Nigerian pilgrims community when her whereabout could not be acertained just as the Nigerian embassy in Saudi Arabia intensifies efforts to identify Nigerians who were trapped in the tragic incident.
Yussuf hailed from from the Northern part of Nigeria.
