Manchester City could loan as many as five youth-team players to NAC Breda as part of their link-up with the Dutch club.
NAC, who announced a five-year partnership with the City Football Group in April, trained at City's Etihad Campus in Manchester last week in preparation for their Eerste Divisie play-off.
The link-up will enable the second-tier outfit to benefit from the CFG's global scouting and coaching network, with clubs in New York and Melbourne and a growing presence in China.
But they are also keen on stocking their squad with several talented City youngsters, and have even used Enes Unal, already on loan at the club, to try to persuade his would-be team-mates in an in-house promotional video.
Technical director Hans Smulders has also made contact, with Manchester centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo, who made his senior debut in the FA Cup against Chelsea, and Kosovan winger Bersant Celina, who made a handful of appearances for Manuel Pellegrini's side, both identified as possible targets.
There is also interest in 19-year-old midfielder Kean Bryan and goalkeeper Angus Gunn, who has trained with the City first team this season.
Aleix Garcia, the 18-year-old central midfielder, is another name said to interest the Dutch club, but he is unlikely to be made available.
Both he and compatriot Manu Garcia are likely to be involved in Pep Guardiola's plans, at least for what is likely to be a busy first summer in charge, with a number of players coming and going.
Indeed, many of NAC's targets may only become available after City's transfer business is concluded.
It is understood Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen is being lined up as a summer acquisition, but with Willy Caballero likely to leave and Richard Wright nearing the end of his deal, Gunn may be kept around as third-choice.
Likewise, City's pursuit of first-choice targets John Stones, Paul Pogba, Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gundogan, who is nursing a knee injury, and Aymeric Laporte, who has a broken ankle, will likely influence how many opportunities are afforded to the Garcias and Adarabioyo.
NAC have Ghanian midfielder Divine Naah, as well as Turkish striker Unal, who has scored eight goals in nine starts, on loan from City.
Despite coveting a number of City starlets, NAC pointed out in their statement last month that they will retain full control of their match day selections.
