Since it won't be bringing the Lincoln brand to Europe any time soon, Ford decided to court buyers seeking added luxury and style with the Vignale trim that's slowly expanding to its entire line-up.

So, it comes as no surprise that they presented a production-intent concept variant of the Ford Kuga Vignale at Geneva.

The Kuga was presented in a unique Palazzo Pearl hue, and finished with tarnished dark paint effect for the front and rear skid plates, gloss black lower grille and fog-lamp inserts, as well as tarnished dark paint effect for the front and rear skidplates.

Ford says the interior features a unique leather treatment with β€œtuxedo” stitching, for the seats, doors and instrument panels. Alcantara surrounds the occupants, being present on the window pillars and headliners.

Given that 4-in-5 of the 102,000 Kugas sold in 2015 were high-spec Titanium models, Ford's move to prepare a Vignale edition of the model sounds completely reasonable.
