Israel’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday shared a video apparently celebrating a vary of weddings carried out outside the state-run Chief Rabbinate, although the ceremonies wouldn't be acknowledged by the State of Israel.

“In Israel, there’s the Orthodox way to get married, through the rabbanut [rabbinate] institute, and we formed a path that both of us are happy with,” added a girl recognized as Efrat, with out elaborating on what ceremony they finally settled on.
The Foreign Ministry, in a assertion to Famzn News, rebuffed the suggestion it was encouraging marriages outside the rabbinate.
