The former Manchester United defender felt his side should have had a penalty shortly after conceding an all-important Aritz Aduriz away goal against Athletic Club
A furious Gary Neville was sent to the stands as Valencia slipped out of the Europa League against Athletic Club at the Mestalla on Thursday night.
Valencia trailed by a single goal going into the second leg clash but looked set to book a place in the quarter-finals after Santi Mina and Aderllan Santos put the hosts 2-1 up on aggregate.
But Aritz Aduriz - the top scorer in the Europa League - scored in the 75th minute to send the visitors through on away goals.
Neville thought his side should have been awarded a penalty when a shot appeared to hit Markel Susaeta on the arm and protested to Italian referee Daniele Orsato.
And Orsato forced the Valencia boss to watch the rest of the game from the stands as his side crashed out of the competition.
It was another frustrating night for Neville, whose side sits 12th in La Liga and are left with little to play for over the remainder of the season, with the former Manchester United man's future at the club yet to be decided.
