The Turkish giants have struggled for form in the 2015-16 season and have now lost their second manager of the season, having sacked Hamza Hamzaoglu in November
Galatasaray manager Mustafa Denizli has decided to resign from his role at the club, Goal understands.
The Turkish giants lost 2-0 to Gaziantepspor at the weekend - their third defeat from their previous five games - and currently sit in fifth in the Super Lig, 14 points behind leaders Besiktas.
Gala were also eliminated from the Europa League by Lazio on Thursday, falling to a 4-2 aggregate defeat.
Denizli has subsequently taken the decision to step down from his current role, becoming the second manager to leave the club in the 2015-16 season.
Gala started the campaign with manager Hamza Hamzaoglu in charge, but dispensed with his services in November, with Denizli replacing the 46-year-old.
Goal understands that Denizli will meet with Galatasaray chairman Dursun Ozbek later on Monday to formally announce his departure although it remains to be seen if a replacement will be in place in time for Wednesday's Turkish Cup quarter-final meeting with Akhisar.
