Leading British choreographer Dame Gillian Lynne has died aged 92.
She handed away on Sunday night on the Princess Grace Hospital in central London, her actor husband Peter Land mentioned on Twitter.
Dame Gillian started her profession as a ballet dancer however achieved her biggest success within the theatre world, devising the dances for Lord Lloyd-Webber's Cats and Phantom of the Opera.

Dame Gillian, who was born in Bromley, south-east London, began her profession on the age of 16 performing classical roles with the Sadler's Wells Ballet, shifting on to stage musicals and tv within the 1950s.
She went on to labored as a choreographer for the Northern Ballet and the Bolshoi.
