Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) within the forthcoming Ekiti State election, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has revealed that God’s intervention saved him and others from been killed on Friday at a rally organised in his honor.

Speaking on Tuesday, the previous Ekiti State governor vowed that the July 14 election could be the top of Governor Ayodele Fayose’s political reign in Ekiti state.

He famous that the party will work arduous throughout the 177 wards to make sure that PDP is uprooted from the state.

Speaking additional, Fayemi described Adeyeye’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to APC as a massive enhance to the party, saying his parting methods with Fayose would assist the reclamation battle towards the current governor.

Fayemi spoke in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday when Adeyeye formally joined the party with members of Prince Adedayo Adeyeye Movement (PAAM).

He stated: “We thank God that we're alive. What do you assume would have occurred if Governor Akeredolu, Adeyeye, Bamidele and I had died? It was doable for the bullets to have hit and killed all of us, however we thank God.

He assured PAAM members that Adeyeye stays a respectable chief of the party, who can’t be shortchanged within the political equation as a consequence of his political price, if APC finally wins.

Speaking, Adeyeye regretted that Fayose allegedly tricked him and others in 2014 that he was a modified particular person, just for him to get into authorities and switch a ‘despot’.
