It was discovered that the Labour Party logo was not printed on the initial ballot papers for the gubernatorial election supplied to Borno State. This may cause the governorship election in Borno State to be shifted forward till Sunday. At the time of filling this report, the new ballot papers were yet to be supplied across the state. As stated by the Borno State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Samuel Madaki, the ballot papers will be conveyed by plane from Gombe to the southern part of Borno State. Based on what was gathered, if the distribution of the ballot papers is not done in time, the governorship election may be shifted for a day.
