Granit Xhaka says Arsenal are yet to submit an offer to Borussia Monchengladbach for him, despite rumours suggesting he was preparing to move to the Emirates in the next window.
The 23-year-old attacker has been linked with a £30 million move to the Gunners after another impressive season in which he helped Gladbach secure a Champions League spot.
But Xhaka says no progress has been made regarding a potential transfer, insisting he is happy where he is.
"What happens is not entirely down to me. I can only say that I am really happy here, and my contract runs through to 2020," the Swiss international told RP-Online. "At this time, no offer has been made."
Rumours regarding a potential move to the Premier League have abated in recent weeks due to Gladbach's impressive league form and the former Basel playmaker claims a move away has not crossed his mind.
"To be honest, I didn't think about it in the past weeks. And I believe you could see that on the pitch," Xhaka said.
"Should something come up, we'd possibly sit down and decide what happens. If nothing comes up, everything fits here at Borussia."
