Hal Robson-Kanu, Robert Lewandowski and Antoine Griezmann have made the shortlist for the UEFA EURO 2016 Goal of the quarter-finals, presented by Carlsberg.
Wales star Robson-Kanu is the front-runner for the prize after his sensational Cruyff-turn and neat finish proved the highlight of a historical night for the Welsh as they saw off Belgium 3-1 to book their first ever semi-final at a major international tournament.
Radja Nainggolan earned a nomination thanks to his long-range stunner that had given Belgium a first-half lead in that game.
But both faces stiff competition for the award, however, with Poland’s Lewandowski capping a fine passing move with a sweeping finish in his side’s eventual defeat to Portugal.
Renato Sanches is also in line for the prize after his one-two and sweet left-footed finish for Portugal from the same match.
Griezmann has been nominated for the second round in a row after latching onto a Olivier Giroud dummy to clip a wonderful finish over the goalkeeper in France’s 5-2 demolition of Iceland on Sunday.
