The “Concerned Citizens of Sokoto State” has called on the State Governor Aminu Tambuwal to resign after defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Tambuwal had last week left for the PDP alongside his supporters.
This came on Sunday during a press conference by the group made the call while addressing a press conference on Sunday.
“We are speaking on behalf of Sokoto people that we are totally against Tambuwal’s decision to join PDP and we want him to immediately return our mandate by resigning his position as governor,” the coordinator of the group Abubakar Abdullahi said.
