But on Thursday Nashville star Hayden Panettiere talked about her experience for the first time since last May when she posted on twitter that she was undergoing a second round of treatment.
The 27-year-old told Good Morning America host Sara Haines that 'it takes you a while' to realise there is something wrong. 'You feel off. You don’t feel like yourself.

'But I think I'm all the stronger for it,' she also stated. 'And I think I'm a better mom because of it.
'Women are so resilient and that’s the incredible thing about them.'

Hayden was on GMA to talk about the fifth season of hit country show Nashville due to debut that evening on CMT after fans campaigned for its return when it was dropped by ABC.

And, in a case of art reflecting life, she stated that it helped that her character in the show, country star Juliette Barnes, also suffered from baby blues.
'It absolutely helped me,' she stated. 'I think it helped me identify what was going on. And to let women know that it’s OK to ask for help and it’s OK to have a moment of weakness.
'It doesn’t make you a bad person, doesn’t make you a bad mother. It makes you a very strong, resilient woman. You’ve just got to let it make you stronger.'

Last season ended when Juliette's plane went missing. But 'obviously, I’m alive,' she joked. 'Shocking.'
And Hayden dished: 'She is not in a great place when we first see her, but I tell you, that resiliency,...She’s going to go down a road and a path that you’d never expect from Juliette. Open a door you would never, ever expect.
'And I think you guys are going to like it. You’re going to be surprised.'
