During a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rally in Lokoja, Kogi State, wife of Goodluck Jonathan, shared her opinion on Buhari. As stated by Patience Jonathan, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari is too old to be President. The First Lady also urged attendees of the rally to vote her husband in for a second term in office. Below are five unbelievable things Patience Jonathan stated during the rally: "Old man wey no get brain, him brain don die pata pata." (Translaation: An old man with no brain, his brain is completely dead.) "Wetin him dey find again? Him dey drag with him pikin mate." (Translation: what is he looking for? He is contesting with his child's age mate.) "What are we looking for? If we women of Nigeria don't appreciate Goodluck and we are looking for bus conductor, it is left for us." "If you vote Buhari, na your prison; if you vote APC, na your wahala." (Translation: If you vote Buhari, it's your prison; if you vote APC, that's your problem.) "What is change? Why did you not change things when you were there? Is it now that you want to be doing the things you weren’t doing before?"
