Roy Hodgson will name his England squad for Euro 2016 on Monday and many players up and down the country will be eagerly awaiting the news.
Several stars, including Premier League champion Jamie Vardy and Golden Boot winner Harry Kane, are all but certain of being included after their exploits this season but others face an uncertain wait.
Jack Wilshere has returned to fitness in recent weeks but speculation persists over whether Hodgson will select the Arsenal midfielder, who has made just three Premier League appearances this season.
Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford and Sunderland veteran Jermain Defoe will also be hoping for a call after working their way into the frame, while Danny Drinkwater and Andros Townsend have each been tipped for call-ups.
Hodgson has experimented with more youthful line-ups in recent friendlies, notably picking four young Spurs stars – Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Danny Rose – in the recent 3-2 win over Germany, but it remains to be seen if he will ultimately pick experience over relatively inexperienced international players.
The squad announcement is scheduled to take place at around 1200GMT on Monday, with England kicking off their Euro 2016 campaign on June 11 against Russia.
