Why did one of Hollywood’s seemingly solid couples call it quits? Two words: the ny. The Voice mentor admitted that her “life blew up last February” but didn’t go into specifics. If Us Weekly is to be believed, it’s because that’s when she found out the Bush rocker was exchanging naughty texts with the family’s long-time ny, Mindy Mann. Gavin allegedly stated it was only a flirtation, but then admitted it was a three-year affair months later. That’s when Gwen — who shares three sons with Gavin — decided to end their marriage. Stefani, who has moved on with co-judge Blake Shelton, was “completely devastated,” a source told Us. “She was mortified, livid, and embarrassed.”
Ethan Hawke
Ethan Hawke has never admitted to cheating on Uma Thurman, but when they ended their nine-year marriage, the circumstances were fishy. It was rumoured that Hawke cheated on the actress with their ny, Ryan Shawhughes. Did we mention Hawke is now married to Shawhughes? The actor — who has two children with Thurman and two with Shawhughes — has also made some interesting remarks about the notion of fidelity. “People have such a childish view of monogamy and fidelity,” he stated in 2013. “‘He’s cheated, so he’s bad; she’s cheated, so she’s bad,’ as opposed to a recognition that our species is not monogamous. To act all indigt, that your world has been rocked because your lover wasn’t faithful to you, is a little bit like acting rocked that your hair went gray.”
Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced in June they were divorcing after 10 years of marriage, and while they put on a united front in public, behind the scenes it was tumultuous. Multiple reports claimed that the Oscar-winning actor had been cheating on Garner with their children’s ny, Christine Ouzounian. Allegedly, the fling started during Ben and Jen’s 10-month trial separation, but naturally, it hit too close to home. “There was always a speck of doubt in Jen’s mind about separating, but that’s now gone,” a source told People. “She is very angry. To Jen, this is the ultimate betrayal.”
Jude Law
Ben Affleck barely escaped (at least, thus far) without his alleged fling talking to the press, but Jude Law wasn’t so lucky. Law’s former ny, Daisy Wright, gave a detailed interview about her liaisons with the actor that took place while he was engaged to Sienna Miller. “He is a great lover and knows how to satisfy a woman,” she told Britain’s Sunday Mirror. “We couldn’t get enough of each other.” Jude publicly apologised for the affair in the hopes that it would save his relationship with Miller. “I just want to say I am deeply ashamed and upset that I’ve hurt Sienna and the people most close to us,” he stated in a statement. “There is no defense for my actions which I sincerely regret and I ask that you respect our privacy at this very difficult time.” Despite attempting to reconcile, Jude and Sienna never made it to the altar.

Mick Jagger has always been a ladies’ man, but according to biographer Christopher Anderson, it wasn’t always appropriate. While married to Jerry Hall, the Rolling Stones frontman allegedly slept with Claire Houseman, who joined the Jagger family on tour to look after their kids. “We kissed passionately,” she claimed. “The next thing I remember, he was making love to me.” Supposedly Jerry was in a bedroom 30 feet away.

Robin Williams’s second marriage, to Marsha Garces, began with some controversy. He met his future bride while she was caring for his son, Zach, with first wife, Valerie Velardi. The actor and Velardi split after a decade together in 1988, and Williams married his former ny the following year. The action star saw his marriage crumble after it was revealed he had an affair and secretly fathered a child with Mildred Baena who worked as their housekeeper. “After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,” Arnold stated in a statement after news broke in May 2011. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused.”
