The invaders destroyed portraits of President Muhammadu Buhari, APC National Chairman, Adams Oshomhole, as well as Senator Abe’s.
Political thugs on Saturday vandalised the newly built factional secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
They were said to have smashed windows, doors and ceiling of the building, and pulled down party flags hoisted in the premises.
Reports also have it that the thugs also destroyed portraits of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Famzn News understands that the violence was between the two factions of the party in the state, led by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and Senator Magnus Abe.
The office is controlled by Abe, the Senator Representing Rivers South-East at the National Assembly.
Reports say Abe’s supporters have fingered the Chairman of APC in the oil-rich state, Ojukaye Flag-Amachree, as the mastermind of the destruction.
It was learned that Flag-Amachree had on Friday allegedly threatened to seal off any APC parallel secretariat opened by any group in the state.
