Media mogul Dele Momodu has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari won the 2015 election due to support from those who left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Buhari, running under the platform of the then opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), defeated incumbent Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP.
Momodu, has, however, said Buhari’s victory would have been impossible baring support from those who left the PDP.
In a reply to a follower on Twitter, Momodu said, “The soul and heart of APC is PDP. In fact, without the monstrous support of PDP decampees then, Buhari would not have won… And even now, the only reason APC apparatchiks are desperate to gather more PDP decampees is because they know they can’t do it alone…
No Sir. The soul and heart of APC is PDP. In fact, without the monstrous support of PDP decampees then, Buhari would not have won… And even now, the only reason APC apparatchiks are desperate to gather more PDP decampees is because they know they can't do it alone… https://t.co/DW3GTZbxYO
