A review of the new Ioniq nearly lead to a crash, as it looks like the throttle stopped working for a few seconds.
According to this Reddit thread, the Korean reviewer bought Hyundai's new hybrid and encountered the throttle issue before the video.
He then called his camera crew and tried to replicate the process, taking the car on an uphill parking exit and slowly bringing it to a halt before pressing the throttle again, only to find out that it wasn’t responding.
Eventually, the driver stopped the car from rolling using the brakes and the throttle came back to normal. Head to the 4:00 min mark to watch the incident.
