Not long after the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid debuted, the first images and details of the all-electric version have emerged online.

Appropriately dubbed the Ioniq Electric, the new Hyundai is powered by a 28 kWh battery produced by LG and located beneath the rear seats. This battery is complemented by a 117 hp electric motor that provides the car with a range of 169 km (105 miles) and provides a 150 km/h (93 mph) top speed.

At this early stage, it seems apparent that sales of the Ioniq Electric will first commence in South Korea where it will be offered from 40M won ($32,400) and in three separate trim levels, including the premium Q version.

Standard features across the range will include a 6-speaker audio system, 16-inch wheels, chrome door handles and LED headlights.

Sales in the U.S. are expected to start in the third quarter of the year.
