“I am going to be very controversial. I am also going to be outspoken. The difference between me and everyone else is that I am going to be speaking my mind and my music will touch people’s lives,”Juggernaut declared, while in a chat with Potpourri. Juggernaut, who has been working underground for years as a singer, is the first music act to be signed to Seun Kuti’s new record label. He described the Afrobeat singer, as “a hard working and principled boss,” adding that the multi-talented instrumentalist has been a source of inspiration for him.

The Ogun State-born afro pop singer, whose “Obinrin Asiko” song is currently making waves said that he has been working since his path crossed with Seun Kuti in the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s house situated in the heart of Ikeja. ‘We were just doing our thing, freestyling and dropping verses when Seun heard me and invited me to his place. That was the beginning of the journey. Seun is very intelligent and he is a voracious reader, who reads several books. He inspires me a lot, and I like the energy he puts in his work and it goes a long way to inspire me to do my best. He knows what he wants and I have been working hard in the studio as a result of that,’ he said .
